They announced their wedding via a satellite appearance, where Ricochet reflected on his upcoming match at AEW Dynasty. Ricochet had a beautiful reason to miss AEW Dynamite as he and his popular fiance were set to have their special day.
Ricochet is one of the most captivating wrestling superstars of the business. He has been rising as a top-tier star ever since he came to AEW from WWE in mid-2024. He was not present on this week's edition of AEW Dynamite but made an appearance via satellite. In that appearance, Ricochet laid out some good news while taking jabs at the same time at his upcoming opponents in a huge match.

Ricochet and Samantha Irvin officially tie the knot

During the March 26th edition of AEW Dynamite, the fans saw Kenny Omega compete in an exciting opening contest against Blake Christian. Following his victory, he was confronted by one of his opponents for AEW Dynasty, Speedball Mike Bailey. As the duo were having a verbal exchange, Ricochet made an appearance on the titantron.
The One and Only was looking fresh and dapper wearing an impressive white tuxedo and was standing in front of a beautiful location. The AEW star revealed that he was not present for this week's edition of Dynamite due to his real-life wedding with his fiancée and former WWE ring announcer, Samantha Irvin.

After meeting in WWE, Ricochet and Samantha Irvin had been dating for a few years. The duo got engaged in January 2023. They worked as full-time personnel in WWE, and it was there that their love blossomed over the years. Ricochet left WWE in mid-2024 as his contract came to an end. On the other hand, Samantha Irvin resigned a few months later too and is now focusing on her music career and other projects.
While Ricochet and Samantha Irvin have a beautiful day to celebrate, Ricochet would shift his focus back to the task at hand. He is set to compete against Kenny Omega and Speedball Mike Bailey for Omega's AEW International Championship at the Dynasty pay-per-view. This could mark his first major win and title in the company, and who knows, possibly Mrs Ricochet, Samantha Irvin could also join in to see her husband's big moment.
