Ubisoft has released Assassin's Creed Shadows on on Day 1, offering players an immersive journey through 16th century Japan's tumultuous era of unification. The latest installment in the acclaimed franchise introduces players to two unique protagonists: Naoe, a skilled shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a legendary African samurai, whose intertwined stories promise a groundbreaking gaming experience.
Developed by Ubisoft Québec, the studio behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the game leverages advanced Mac technologies including MetalFX, Apple silicon, and hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing on M3 and M4 devices. Players will navigate a richly detailed open world featuring dynamic seasonal weather, realistic lighting, and destructible environments that respond to player actions.
