Pakistani actress and social media influencer Hania Aamir has denied a viral post falsely attributed to her about the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu & Kashmir. The statement, being circulated on social media, claimed Aamir blamed Pakistan’s military for the incident and urged the Indian prime minister to distinguish between civilians and “Islamist terrorists.” Refuting the claims, Aamir shared an Instagram story stating the statement is “falsely attributed” to her. “I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe,” Aamir added.
As Hania Aamir’s account remains suspended in India, but her Instagram post is being circulated by her fans. One such post is shared below:


Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.
That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy—not politicization.
In times like these, it's easy to let emotions cloud our judgment, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing.

Earlier this week, Instagram suspended Instagram accounts of several Pakistani social media models and influencers in India. Other than Hania Aamir, some of the prominent names included actress Mahira Khan, and actor-singer Ali Zafar. When Indian users try to access these accounts, they see a message stating: “Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.”
The move is likely linked to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.
