Caarthick Raju's bilingual movie Kannadi's new trailer was released by director Venkat Prabhu

Actress Anya Singh, who made her Bollywood debut with "Qaidi Band" in 2017, says the film's lukewarm response at the box-office did make her feel bad, but she adds that her maiden movie will always be very close to her heart.

It was a cold night, but things were heating up on the set of Caarthick Raju’s Kannaadi.

Touted to be a psychological thriller, the film stars Sundeep Kishan and Anya Singh in the lead roles along with Poornima Bhagyaraj, Anandraj, Murali Sharma and Karunakaran.

Actress Anya Singh, who made her debut with 'Qaidi Band' and won the hearts of many with her series 'Never Kiss Your Best Friend', will be seen in the upcoming movie 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan'. She says her dream has come true to finally get to work with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Tamannaah, who plays the role of Lavanya in the series said that she "deeply relates" to the characters in the show as they face the challenges of peer pressure, both in college and school, and even in their 30s.

The latest on that is that the film’s been titled 'Kannaadi' and it’s in the post-production stage.

The horror-thriller has Anya Singh in the female lead role. The film has been wrapped up its shoot recently, and its post-production work is underway.
