Theatre and film actor Ashwath Bhatt performed his one-man play, 'Ek Mulaqat Manto Se', where he plays a variety of roles, ranging from Saadat Hasan Manto to his ‘djinn’ and even a number of characters from the famed Urdu writer’s short stories.

Ashwath plays the Orakzai chief Gul Badshah Khan, who was one of the leaders of the Afghan forces against the Sikh soldiers in the Battle of Saragarhi, on which the film is based.
