Popular Telugu comedian Raghu Karumanchi's father Venkat Rao has reportedly passed away. He was 74 and reportedly suffering from prolonged illness for some time. He breathed his last on Thursday.Venkat Rao was born on June 10, 1947, and served in the Indian Army for several years. He used to be at home for the past quite a few years post his retirement. Several film actors and Karumanchi's colleagues have expressed their heartfelt condolences to Raghu's family.

Actor Varun Sandesh launches his next movie, a thriller directed by Adyanth Harsha. The film, featuring Sandesh, Raghu Karumanchi, Pramodini, Balagam Jayaram Viva Raghava, Ravi Teja Nannimala, Kakinada Nani, and Aparna Devi, started filming on January 2, 2024. The movie's plot is hitherto unheard-of and set in new locations. The filmmakers shared photos on social media.
