After doing a role in Anurag Kashyap’s Paanch, Kolhapure got demoralized as the movie was banned for three years. As she talks about rejecting roles, Kolhapure said no to the TV show Hasratein, which later became a hit with actor Shefali Shah. “I was trying to move into film, and also doing that one TV show typecast me within the film industry," Tejaswini noted.
