Bangla Medium: Tiyasha Lepcha-Neel Bhattacharya team up again

Tiyasha Lepcha and Neel Bhattacharya are ready to entertain the audience yet again. The actors, who played the lead roles in television serial ‘Krishnakoli’ and became household names, will team up for a new show. The duo will be seen in upcoming television serial ‘Bangla Medium’.
Rumours were rife for the past few months that a new television serial is ready to launch which will star Neel, Tiyasha and actress Sampurnaa Lahiri in the lead roles.Meanwhile, viewers have been eager to see Tiyasha yet again on the screen. The actress wasn’t seen in any daily soaps after ‘Krishnakoli’ ended its journey.
In the upcoming project, Tiyasha will be seen playing the role of a girl who always wanted to be a teacher. She bags a job in a reputed English medium school as well. The only issue crops up is, she has studied from a Bengali medium school. How the female protagonist continues her journey and tries to fit in the school, form the major crux of the story.
While Tiyasha is playing a young teacher, Neel and Sampurnaa will essay siblings who run the school.
Prior to this, Tiyasha-Neel’s crackling chemistry as village belle Shyama and Nikhil, was an instant hit. Makers are looking forward to recreating the magic yet again in this upcoming show.
Interestingly, Sampurnaa will be seen on the small screen after a brief break. She was last seen in supernatural drama ‘Nojor’ which was the Bengali remake of Hindi series ‘Nazar’.
