Ritabhari Chakraborty is in her happy place. The popular Bengali actress is basking in the glory of her latest professional success. Her last film ‘Bohurupi’ is making quite a rage in the Box Officeand the numbers are proof of that. The film is not just a commercial success; Ritabhari’s work in the Shiboprosad Mukherjee-Nandita Roy directorial has been critically acclaimed as well.It is safe to say that the ‘Fatafati’ actress is in the pink of her career. However, it is not just her professional life that’s thriving. Ritabhari has found joy in her personal life too. The actress reveals that she is in love.

Ritabhari recently opened up about her love life during the promotional activities of ‘Bohurupi’. The actress revealed that she had found love and she had marriage in the cards. However, she added that she was not marrying the doctor (Tathagata Chatterjee). For the unversed, Ritabhari was in a relationship with Dr Tathagata Chatterjee for a few years before they called it quits. Ritabhari mentioned that despite encountering bumps in the way, she still has unwavering faith in love and she wants to get married too. However, the actress revealed that she is not yet ready to talk about her newfound romance. As per insiders, Ritabhari has found her way back to her former flame, who happens to belong to the entertainment industry in Mumbai.

Ritabhari and Tathagata fell in love with each other during the lockdown when she suffered from depression after her surgery. Tathagata stood beside her and took care of her. Ritabhari and Tathagata exchanged rings and got engaged to be married in 2022. They even started living together, and went on trips abroad together as well. However, the relationship fell apart and the marriage was called off. Ritabhari later clarified that the relationship didn’t end due to any bitterness and that she and Tathagata were still very good friends.
