Ishaa Saha starrer web series Indu set for a Telugu remake

It is not common for Bengali TV shows to get a remake in other languages. In fact some of the remakes of Bengali television shows like ‘Sreemoyee’, ‘Trinayani’, ‘Krishnakoli’ have managed to woo the audiences in other entertainment industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Malayalam and Kannada. Now a Bengali web series is ready for its remake.Web series ‘Indu’, starring Ishaa Saha as the lead, is ready for its remake. While the star cast of the Telugu remake have been finalised, ‘Indu’ will also have its remake in other languages.
Interestingly, the Telugu version will feature ‘Balika Vadhu’ fame Avika Gor.
The web series recently had its second season. The premiere season had a good response. Sahana Dutta has penned the story of this psychological thriller that has an ensemble cast. The second season features actors Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Judhajit Sarkar, Manasi Sinha, Payel De, Manali Manisha De, Mimi Dutta, Tanika Basu and others.
Indu’s story revolves around a girl who gets married to a guy named Sujato. He belongs to a joint family. Newly married Indu realises that the members of the huge mansion are trying to hide some secrets. Unaware of the fact that scandals, lies, conspiracies are deeply rooted inside the huge walls of the mansion, Indu starts digging in deep. As soon as she starts investigating, a skeleton inside the closet begins to come out leaving her absolutely shocked.
