Kheyali Mondal bags a new project replacing Hiya Mukherjee?

In showbiz, casting is not an easy matter. It keeps changing till the last minute until a project finally hits the floor and sometimes changes even after that. And that’s something seem to have happened in an upcoming project where ‘Nayantara’ fame Hiya Mukherjee was supposed to play the female protagonist. There has been a major change recently.
According to industry sources, the actress might not be a part of the upcoming television project and another popular face is likely to be seen in her place.Tolly Para is abuzz with the rumours that actress Kheyali Mondal, who prior to this, won the hearts of Bengali television audience as gymnast Phoring in daily soap ‘Alta Phoring’, has now bagged the new project. Earlier, makers were keen on casting actor Anubhav Kanjilal opposite Hiya in the new daily soap. Anubhav has mostly done OTT projects and movies prior to his. ‘Sampurna’, ‘Obyakto’, are some of his recent projects.
Speaking about Kheyali, the actress became a household name as protagonist Phoring. Not just her performance but perfect summersaults stole the hearts of the viewers. The young actress is a trained gymnast and her skills helped the actress portray the role of a young gymnast. Kheyali was initially paired opposite Arnab Banerjee as the male protagonist. Their crackling chemistry made the show more popular. ‘Alta Phoring’ had a successful run on Bengali small screen and enjoyed good fan following till the end.
Meanwhile, the Anubhav Kanjilal starrer show will also feature a number of popular artists of this industry. It will be interesting to see whether the lead cast remain the same or change again.
