Romantic-comedy 'Basanta Bilash' to launch on November 22

Bengali television is set to have a series of new shows. Different flavours of entertainment, including family-drama, romantic-comedy, non-fiction shows are waiting for the audience. ‘Basanta Bilash’, starring Kanchan Mallick, Kamalika Banerjee, and others is set to hit the screen on November 22. Arpan and Nandini are playing the lead jodi in this upcoming romantic-comedy.

Different flavours of entertainment, including family-drama, romantic-comedy, non-fiction shows are waiting for the audience. ‘Basanta Bilash’, starring Kanchan Mallick, Kamalika Banerjee, and others is set to hit the screen on November 22. Arpan and Nandini are playing the lead jodi in this upcoming romantic-comedy.
The upcoming show ‘Basanta Bilash’ will narrate the story of a unique hostel that accommodates people from different parts of Bengal.
The residents of ‘Basanta Bilash’ have come to the city to make their dreams come true. Interestingly, the hostel has both male and female housemates as the residents, who often get into trouble. With their uniqueness and eccentricities, they make ‘Basanta Bilash’ a hub of fun galore. Things take a bitter turn when a local promoter decides to demolish the building and build a highrise. The residents of ‘Basanta Bilash’ join hands to save their hostel from the rich and powerful promoter. Singer Upal Sengupta has sung the title track of 'Basanta Bilash'.
Along with this a romantic comedy and a mythological show ‘Jai Jagannath’ will also be launched on November 22. The show will star actor Bipul Patra in the titular role. He will also essay Lord Krishna’s role in the show. Actress Shreema Bhattacherjee, who will soon be seen in the upcoming show ‘Gathchhora’, is also a part of ‘Jai Jagannath’. She will play a meaty role in this upcoming devotional show.
Besides, these two Gourab Roy Chowdhury and debutante Megha Daw starrer ‘Pilu’ and a non-fiction show hosted by veteran actor Debshankar Halder are also in the pipeline.
