Romantic-comedy ‘Basanta Bilash’ is going to entertain the audience soon. While the show promises to create a laugh riot, it will have an interesting title track too. And it is sung by none other than popular singer Upal Sengupta. Chandrabindoo’s Upal doesn’t need any introduction. From ‘Juju’ to ‘Daknam’, Upal’s unique songs and his soulful voice have taken the audience on a musical ride several times in the past.
The upcoming track promises the same. Lyricist Prosen, who started his career with the movie ‘Le Chhakka’, has penned the lyrics of this title track. It has some interesting lines like ‘Achhe Emon Ek Ajob Thikana/ Bari Noy Jeno Chiriakhana.
The song will soon be released by the makers.
The upcoming show ‘Basanta Bilash’ will narrate the story of a unique hostel that accommodated people from different parts of Bengal. The residents of ‘Basanta Bilash’ have come to the city to achieve their dreams. Interestingly, the hostel has both male and female housemates as the residents. With their uniqueness and eccentricities, they make ‘Basanta Bilash’ a hub of fun galore.
Actor-turned-politician Kanchan Mullick will be seen in a daily soap after a long time. Actress Kamalika Banerjee will be paired opposite him in ‘Basanta Bilash’.
According to the story, protagonists Rahul (played by Arpan) and Mohua (played by Nandini) have completely different personalities. Interestingly, they are the only sensible residents of this hostel and develop an emotional bond. They help fellow inmates overcome their struggles, emotional turmoil, and insecurities. The audience will see how the residents, who are always fighting among themselves, get united when a powerful promoter wishes to demolish the house.
