Srijit Mukherji’s Feluda and Co are ready for ‘Mission Kashmir’; ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’ set to premiere soon

One of the leading OTT platforms of Bengali content is coming up with an array of content to treat the audience this festive season. A plethora of shows of different tastes is awaiting release to keep the viewers hooked to their mobile and TV screens as the end of the year’s festive season approaches. Amongst all those, ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’ is one of the most-anticipated shows. The teaser of the series is out now.

After ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Darjeeling JawmJawmat’, Srijit Mukherji is ready with his offering ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’. Like the last one, this series also stars Tota Roy Choudhury as Feluda, Anirban Chakrabarti as Lalmohan Ganguly aka Jatayu, and Kalpan Mitra as Topshe. According to Tota, the landscape of Kashmir has acted as another character in the show. The teaser of the upcoming show shows the magnificent Kashmir in its glory as the trio sets out for their ‘Mission Kashmir’.
Srijit’s love for Feluda, the Bengali detective at large, is quite well known. From time to time, he goes back to directing a Kakababu or a Feluda. From ‘Mishawr Rawhoshyo’, ‘Yeti Obhijaan’, ‘Kakababur Protyaborton’ to ‘Feludar Goyendagiri’, he has come a long way. Not just in films, Srijit has experimented with detective stories in the series format too. ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Darjeeling JawmJawmat’, released on an OTT platform, was a huge success.
Srijit and the team started shooting for ‘Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’ this March around the time of Holi. While the tinsel town was painted in vibrant colours of Holi, the cast and crew were shooting in snow-white Kashmir. Tota took to social media and shared a photo from the shoot location and informed that they were shooting in -6 degrees Celsius temperature with nothing but thermals for cold protection.

Helmed by Srijit Mukherjee, ‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’ will be the third release of this year after ‘Oti Uttam’ and ‘Tekka’. While ‘Oti Uttam’ was Srijit’s spring special release, ‘Tekka’ had its theatrical release this Durga Puja.
‘Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr’ is slated to release sometime around the end of the year.
