Television actress molested at Howrah station

A Bengali television was reportedly molested in Howrah railway station on Wednesday night. According to railway police, the 23 years old actress was returning from shooting when a man reportedly molested her in the subway.
Later the police arrested the accused Pappu Sonkar, who is from Golabari, Howrah. The police informed that Pappu was under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
The young actress, who is originally from Bhadreswar, was commuting through the subway of the railway station when Pappu started misbehaving with her.The actress raised alarm. Some of the local passengers noticed the incident and rushed to help the victim. Seeing which, the accused tried to run away. Police informed that the local commuters grabbed Pappu.
This is not the first time the when television actresses have been targeted in public. Previously actress Kanchana Moitra was reportedly harassed while she was returning from shooting at night. Few days back television actress Tonni Laha Roy was reportedly abused by a man on social media. According to reports, the accused sent her explicit photos. The ‘Bakshobodol’, shared the ordeal on her Facebook account.
