Vikram Chatterjee and
Angana Roy, who were seen sharing the screen in recently released ‘Roktokorobi’, have teamed up yet again for a brand new project. The duo will be seen in director Tathagata Mukherjee’s new movie. While in
Raima Sen starrer ‘Roktokorobi’,
Vikram and Angana played cousins, the movie will feature them as a reel pair.
Tathagata, who as a director, loves experimenting, is ready to narrate an interesting story through his upcoming project.
It will highlight the issue of cruelty to animals. Vikram will play a guy who protests against such cruelty against animals. Angana, on the other hand, plays a student, who comes to the city to pursue her education. She meets with an animal activist and joins her mission. The project will soon hit the floor. Tathagata is currently busy with the pre-production responsibilities. The team will start shooting in April.
Vikram’s recently premiered web series ‘Roktokorobi’, in which he played a psychologist, managed to impress the audience with its gripping story. The series by Sahana Dutta is a psychological thriller which has a strong cast including Laboni Sarkar, Tulika Basu, Shantilal Mukherjee and others. Angana played a girl next door who helps her brother Satyaki (played by Vikram) to unveil the secrets of Mukherjee family.
Besides this Vikram, who is giving Bengali small screen a miss, has some other offers in his kitty too. Angana, on the other hand, will be seen in Radhika Apte starrer ‘Mrs. Undercover’ and in a few other projects.
