Netflix and producers Warner Bros Television have confirmed they are reviving the popular series "Gilmore Girls".
Set to return are stars
Lauren Graham,
Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena, said The Hollywood Reporter. Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino will also return. Original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino, Daniel Palladino and the production company Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions are on board for the revival.

Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will write and direct all of the episodes. Though many other actors from the original series are expected to make a comeback, Melissa McCarthy is unlikely to be one of them.
Since 'Gilmore Girls' wrapped in 2007, McCarthy's career has skyrocketed, with star vehicles on TV ('Mike & Molly') and in films ('The Heat', 'Ghostbusters').
