After a four-year-long absence forced by an accident, actor Shravan Reddy is all set to return to the small screen. He will play male lead Neil in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s 'Manmarziyan'. The actor says, “The past four years have been very difficult for me. I met with an accident while performing stunts for a commercial and ended up with a tear in my right knee ligament. Though doctors advised me complete bed rest for at least four months, in my hurry to do a Telugu film, I ignored them.
That worsened my condition and I had to undergo a surgery after which I could barely walk.”

For a brief while, I put up at home (Hyderabad), but then I started missing Mumbai. Fortunately, I had saved some money, so, survival was not an issue.” In the meantime, Shravan also tried writing. “Acting is my first love, but I also wanted to be a writer. I signed a big project, but that got shelved,” he explains.
Talking about his comeback show, the actor says, “Neil is a creative and outgoing guy. I took up this role because the character is completely different from what I am. It is a challenge to pull it off.”
