Anushka Merchande, who began her
acting career at the age of seven with ads and went on to do
TV shows, admits that she missed out on a few things while growing up, but has no regrets. She says, “Maybe my childhood wasn’t conventional and I missed out a little, but acting was always a passion.I managed my schooling well and now I’m in my first year of college, so there has been no compromise on my education.”
Talking about balancing her studies with acting, she says, “It’s tough sometimes, but my parents are quite strict and want me to complete my education. Having a degree is important, so I’m focusing on that, but acting is my ultimate goal.”
The actress, who was seen in shows like
Lakshmi Ghar Aayi, Banni Chow Home Delivery and
Main Hoon Aparajita, will now play a negative role in the upcoming show
Saru. Ask her if she is happy with her career graph and she replies, “I’m happy with my journey and have learnt a lot on the way. Working on
