Veteran actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh recently gave a witty yet firm response to a troll who questioned the authenticity of her hand injury. Known for her lively personality and infectious humor, Archana has been recovering from a painful hand injury she sustained while shooting for the film Toaster, produced by Patralekhaa and starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra.Despite the plaster being off, Archana still wears bandages and has wires in her hand as part of the recovery. During a recent pasta-tasting vlog with her husband Parmeet Sethi and sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamaan, Archana addressed a comment that accused her of faking the injury for content. “Someone wrote, ‘Archana ji aapka haath toh pehle hi thik hogaya tha ya shayad toota hi nahi hoga… aap aise hi content create karne ke liye ye sab lagake rakhte ho,’” she recalled.Reacting with humor, she quipped, “Itne bure din nahi aaye hain hamare.”Archana shared that the incident had been traumatic, even witnessed by Sanya Malhotra, who was present on set. “Mere aankhon ke samne aapka haath toota,” Sanya had told her, while producer Patralekhaa reportedly broke down in tears at the scene. “Maine toh khoon, paseena, haddi bhi diye iss film ke liye,” Archana added with her signature comic flair.
In a lighter moment from her vlog, her husband Parmeet joked before her hospital visit, “Tere haath ka aaj unboxing hoga.” At the hospital, Archana had three wires removed from her hand while bravely managing the pain, with the doctor advising her to stay calm.Despite the long healing process, Archana continues to juggle her personal recovery and professional life, proving her resilience with every step.
