Holi is more than just a festival; it is a reminder that we must bring colors into each other’s lives. It is a day when people come together to celebrate the beauty of diversity, acceptance, and joy. For actor Ayush Shrivastava, Holi has always been about unity and embracing the different shades of life.
"For me, Holi is remembering every year that we need to bring colors to each other's lives. It is a day we come together to celebrate the different colors, and, on a deeper level, it is about accepting everyone and celebrating together," he shares.

The festival begins with Holika Dahan, the night before Holi, when bonfires are lit to symbolize the victory of good over evil. Families and communities gather to perform rituals and bask in the warmth of the flames. Reminiscing about his childhood celebrations in Jabalpur, Ayush recalls, "Ever since I was a kid, I enjoyed celebrating Holi. A week before the festival, my friends and I would start planning Holika Dahan. We used to collect money from the families in our colony, and when the day arrived, everyone would gather to celebrate. The vibe was mesmerizing."
This year, Ayush had a unique Holi experience as he was shooting on set. "It was fun to be on set with my reel family. Like every year, I celebrated traditionally—smearing colors, dancing, and indulging in festive treats. But this year was special as it helped break the monotony of work, uplift spirits, and strengthen relationships with co-stars, creating lifelong memories."

Ayush believes that Holi is a festival of love, unity, and togetherness. "May this festival bring endless happiness into our lives! Happy Holi!"
