The competition on Celebrity MasterChef is getting fiercer as contestants put their best foot forward to win each challenge. In the upcoming episode, tensions rise when
Tejasswi Prakash and Gaurav Khanna get into a heated argument during the much-anticipated taste test challenge. While Gaurav tries to explain his mathematical approach, Tejasswi stands firm on her logical reasoning, leading to a clash between the two popular stars.
The channel recently dropped a new promo of Celebrity MasterChef, giving fans a glimpse of the high-stakes challenge. At the start of the promo, Nikki Tamboli reveals that multiple cloches were placed in front of the contestants before the challenge began. As Farah Khan announces the challenge, Nikki expresses her frustration over the difficulty of the task.
This time, the contestants must tackle the famous MasterChef “taste test”. Tejasswi recalls how she previously lost in this challenge while guessing the first ingredients, making her even more anxious. Vikas Khanna then shocks the contestants by revealing that the dish they have to decode consists of 50 ingredients. While Nikki worries, Rajiv Adatia confidently claims he can taste multiple flavors in the dish.
As the challenge begins, Tejasswi, Nikki, Rajiv, and Kabita Singh start guessing ingredients one by one. Nikki guesses “wasabi sauce,” but is left disappointed when Vikas Khanna checks under the cloche to verify her answer.
Meanwhile, Gaurav Khanna plays it safe, stating that his dish contains “oil.” However, Ranveer Brar challenges him, asking him to specify which type of oil was used. This leads to a mathematical debate between Gaurav and Tejasswi.
Gaurav tells Tejasswi, “First position ke 3 rounds joh hai na, tu easy shuru kar sakti hai. Mere tak aate aate voh khatam ho jaate” (You should have started easy in the first position’s three rounds. By the time it reaches me, all the easy ones are gone).”
To this, Tejasswi fires back, “Of course, I started easy. Am I stupid or what?” Gaurav then explains his reasoning, saying, “There are five people. The first person has a 100% chance of being right, while the last person standing in fifth place has only a 20% chance. That’s basic mathematics.”
Tejasswi counters his logic, “If there were only five ingredients, your math would be right. But there are 50 ingredients in the dish.” Realizing the discussion is going nowhere, Gaurav gives up and says, “I rest my case. You guys are right. I am sorry.”
With the confusion building up, Ranveer Brar steps in and announces, “It’s all very confusing.” The promo then ends on a suspenseful note as he eliminates one contestant from the challenge. Who will be out of the race? Will Tejasswi and Gaurav’s disagreement affect their performance in the competition?
