Celebrity MasterChef's Nikki Tamboli hits back at trolls accusing her of betraying Faisu; says "It’s about who makes the best when you got the least"

Nikki Tamboli has been ruling headlines ever since she participated in Celebrity MasterChef. Recently too, Nikki addressed the accusations of betraying Faisal Shaikhon the show, where tensions rose following a crucial moment in a recent episode. The situation began when the actress persistently requested Faisu to trade his key ingredient, prawns, for her brown rice syrup.Although he initially refused multiple times, Nikki convinced Faisal aka Faisu to give her a key ingredient. However, when Faisu attempted to request aningredient swap, Nikki declined to return any, leaving him disappointed. Judges Farah Khan and Ranveer Brar also teased him, remarking, "A lesson learned.". This incident left some fans questioning Nikki's actions, with many accusing her of betrayal.
However, in her response, Nikki took to Twitter (X) to defend her actions, providing a strong stance on the situation. In a detailed post, she questioned the very definition of betrayal. She emphasized that MasterChef isn’t just about having the best ingredients but about making the best dish with what’s available.
"Can someone explain me the exact meaning of betrayal #MasterChef is not about who make the best food out of the best ingredients it’s about who makes the best when u got the least Shifting form dessert to savoury takes guts which I proved to myself. No body offers me a trophy 🏆 if m not winning it. Isn’t that a betrayal too," she wrote.
Nikki further called out trolls for wasting time on social media instead of focusing on their own lives. She stated it takes the courage of a lioness to stand tall and face the challenge head-on.
"It’s better to get a life and earn and make yourself proud instead of wasting your time on social media not even by showing ur true face. Dogs do bark from behind but it take guts to stand tall in front of them just like a lioness does in the jungle Well just incase if you have been to a safari 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂🤣," she added.
