online trollingshe received while shopping for her new home. From criticism about her mode of travel to speculation about her finances, Charu clarified that she has never claimed to be struggling financially. The actress, who is in the process of setting up her new space, opened up about the reality of balancing dreams and budget.
In a candid response to online comments, Charu said, “I keep giving you guys updates. People commented why I travelled by flight and not train. The brand invited me and insisted on booking a flight. Some even made videos of me shopping and said, ‘Yeh toh gareeb hai’. Pehli baat, maine kabhi nahi bola ke main gareeb hu. By God’s grace, I’m managing fine. I don’t want sympathy—I’ve taken a conscious break from TV to explore other things. That was my decision.”
She further shared the challenges of doing interiors within budget: “It’s not easy to have a
budget-friendly home. Budget mein rehna hai aur achha bhi banana hai. When you have unlimited money, you can choose anything. But with a budget, every decision has to be thoughtful.”
Charu also revealed that she bought the home through a loan and is awaiting official documents from the bank.
“The EMI I’m paying now is almost equal to the rent I was paying in Mumbai. Rent increases each year, but EMI remains constant—that’s the advantage.”
As she sets up the new home, Charu is being smart about expenses. “I’ve bought an AC, and I’m creating a play area for Ziana. I found a good fridge, but it’s expensive—so I’ll cut down on other things to get what’s needed. I still need geysers and a vacuum cleaner. I’m buying slowly, within my means.”
With clarity and confidence, Charu proves she’s in control—unfazed by judgment and focused on building a home for herself and daughter Ziana. Charu is best known for her role in Mere Angne Mein, Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana.
