Krutika Desai, whose husband
Imtiaz Khan passed away on Sunday (March 15), penned a farewell message for him on her social media account, wherein she called him her 'friend, philosopher, guide and lover'.
Krutika, who has been a part of several television shows including
Mere Angne Mein, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Uttaran and Kumkum, wrote: "My friend, philosopher, guide and lover.....ALLAH HAFIZ....Till we meet again...soon....."
Her followers asked her to stay strong and paid their heartfelt condolences.
Krutika's husband Imtiaz was best known for his performance in Yaadon Ki Baarat (1973). He was also a part of films such as Dharmatma, Dayavan, Hulchul, Pyaara Dost, Procession of Memories, Noor Jahan among several others.
Imtiaz is survived by his wife, Krutika Desai daughter Ayesha Khan and nephews Shadaab Khan (who is also an actor) and Seemaab Khan.. He was also the brother of yesteryear actor, late Amjad Khan.
Good friend and actress Anju Mahendroo was one of the firsts to pay her condolences on social media. Bidding goodbye to her friend, she had written, "Once upon a time!!! Rest in eternal peace my friend@Imtiaz Khan."
