Lock Upp: Payal Rohatgi makes Islamophobic remarks against Zeeshan Khan; calls him ‘terrorist’, gets bashed by inmates

Lock Upp's latest episode witnessed a huge showdown within the orange team members over coins which got saved during the bidding round. However, soon a fight broke out between Payal Rohatgi and Zeeshan Khan which turned very ugly. As a result all the inmates of the jail turned against Payal as she made Islamophobic comments against Zeeshan Khan.
The fight started after a news was played inside about the demand of ban on halal meat in Karnataka.A discussion between Payal Rohatgi and Zeeshan Khan turned into an argument. Later, the orange team decided to have their coins back and a verbal spat began between Payal and the rest of the housemates.
The matter escalated and Payal made a few Islamophobic comments against Zeeshan Khan and called him a terrorist. This did not go down with any of the jail mates and they all charged towards her condemning her act. Zeeshan, who was the most affected hurled many abuses and used cuss words against Payal and other housemates also did not spare her. Munawar, Nisha, Mandana, Zeeshan, Anjali, Poonam, Azma, everyone called her out and some of them even abused her for her actions. The entire house demanded her ouster from the show.
Meanwhile, during the Judgement day episode, Kangana also slammed Payal for her comments against Zeeshan and a particular community. The host also made it very clear that they do not support Payal’s comments or her ideology, it is her personal opinion and she will have to bear the consequences on her own. Kangana repeatedly said this during the episode that they do not identify with Payal’s views and as a punishment she won’t be allowed to lead any team till the time she is on the show. She was sacked from her captaincy. Later, Kangana also put her name in the next week’s charge sheet.
