Mohan: Achint will continue to be a part of my life

After 16 years of living together, actors Achint Kaur and Mohan Kapoor are no longer a couple. While both Achint and Mohan do not want to get into the details of why they have decided to part ways, they say they will continue to remain friends.
“It is a catastrophic thing for us, but I don’t want the world to make it a catastrophe for us,” says Mohan adding, “I have shifted to another flat in the same building and Achint still continues to look after my well-being, scolds me and cares about me.We are not going to act like immature individuals and behave as if we are enemies. Recently when I spoke somewhere about continuing with our relationship, I meant that our friendship will survive. But it was misinterpreted as something else. It is difficult when two individuals are not able to go together beyond a certain point, but we will deal with it. Even tomorrow you don’t know what will happen. Like Achint always says, ‘Never say never.’ So, we just want to deal with this in our own way.”

Achint says, “I have always been busy with my work and will try to get busier with my work. So long as you are mentally occupied and working, you don’t have time to brood over unfortunate things in life. Mohan and I will continue to be friends.” We ask her if she is keen on looking for a partner or marriage in the future and she says, “I am not even thinking about that. I just take life as it comes.”
