Omi Vaidya to host Chhote Ustaad

Actor Omi Vaidya, known for playing nerdy Chatur Ramalingam in "3 Idiots", has been roped in to host the second season of Star Plus' children's music reality show "Chhote Ustaad".

Actor Omi Vaidya, known for playing nerdy Chatur Ramalingam in "3 Idiots", has been roped in to host the second season of Star Plus' children's music reality show "Chhote Ustaad".
To be judged by singers Sonu Niigaam and Rahet Fateh Ali Khan, the show will bring together raw talent from India and Pakistan. The participants will be in the 8-13 years age group.
"Chhote Ustaad" is going on air July 24 and with his accented Hindi, Omi is expected to bring in lot of fun and humour to the show, said a press statement.

The last season of "Chhote Ustad" was aired in 2007. It was judged by Pritam Chakraborty, Shreya Ghoshal and Kunal Ganjawala and was hosted by Abhaas Joshi.
Ahmedabad's Aishwarya Majumdar had won the show.
