On World Television Day, TV actors get nostalgic about their journey on screen and express gratitude for the medium that has allowed them to live their dream career. In recognition of the increasing impact television has on decision-making by bringing world attention to conflicts and threats to peace and security and its potential role in sharpening the focus on other major issues, including economic and social issues, November 21 was designated as World Television Day.
We spoke to some TV actors in shows on the impact of TV on their careers and life.

Angad Hasija, who is currently doing a Punjabi show 'Tera Rang Chadeya', says, "I was just 17 years old when I joined TV. And I can definitely credit my all growth to the TV industry. I am just so grateful that the audiences accepted all my characters and I am still working on this medium of entertainment."
Harsimran Oberoi who plays a Desho in the show, 'Khasma Nu Khaani' says that her journey from real to reel journey has been not only smooth but as beautiful as can be. She adds, "Working on TV makes me connected to every household. And whenever I receive appreciation for that, I feel like I have achieved everything I ever wanted to in my life and feel blessed."
Kanwalpreet Singh from the show, 'Vilaiyti Bhabhi' says, "We have all grown up watching TV, and the impact the stories have on us cannot be explained in words. I am just blessed that I started my career on TV. I am so thankful for audience for their blessings."
