Veteran actor Surendra Pal has contributed his precious work immensely on small screen. The actor is best known for portraying characters like Tamraj Kilvish, Dronacharya, Raja Daksh on small screen. His filmography clearly depicts that the actor has almost worked with most of the renowned production houses from the industry. However, a recent incident with a production house has left the actor infuriated.
Well! What is the incident? Read on.
A source close to the industry quips, “Sagar Arts is producing a movie,
Jay Ambe Maa directed by Shiv Sagar, wherein Surendra Pal was zeroed down to essay Raja Daksh. However, Sighting the date’s issues, it was mutually decided between the actor and the makers to start the shoot from 30th of July, 2013 till 4th of August, 2013.”
But what went wrong is that it was revealed to Surendra Pal that he has been replaced by the production house at the last moment without informing him and the role went to another veteran actor
Tej Sapru. The movie will also see Piyali Munshi essaying a pivotal role.
This whole drama has annoyed Surendra Pal as according to him its an unprofessional behaviour. On the same we contacted Surendra Pal, who further went on, “Its unprofessional I would say. The reason which I was given from the makers is that ‘You are busy’. Well! I would say that when it was mutually decided between us about the available dates and shoots, why is such reason coming to me? I had in fact written a long letter to the production house on the same and it might happen for the first time but I have clearly threatened the production house saying that I don’t want to work with you in future.”
The message which went to the production house from Surendra Pal reads ‘It seems like professionalism has lost its touch as I have never expected such unprofessional attitude from a milestone production house. It’s all about commitments and I had kept mine while you didn’t. It’s unbelievable how you have managed to keep me uninformed. My 5 precious days let go and you guys didnt even inform me in advance. Horrible behaviour! I may be a small time actor sir but in my future I don’t wish to ever work with you or your production house. It was mutually decided between us on our dates. It’s a betraying attitude of the production house. You are loosing your grace and pride’
Hope the producers are listening!
