Vandana Pathak on new TV show

Actress Vandana Pathak is back to doing what she does best after a gap of 10 months. She will be seen in Dharmesh Mehta's show on Sab TV.
Vandana Pathak, better known as Jayshree of Khichdi, was on a hiatus from TV for the past 10 months. But the actress is now back in another comic avatar on SAB TV. She will be seen playing a housewife in Dharmesh Mehta's show based on the works of noted cartoonist RK Laxman.Says she, "The show revolves around the life of a common man and the day-to-day problems he faces. I will be seen opposite Atul Parchure." The actress who catapulted to fame with the television show Khichdi was missing from the movie based on the show titled Khichdi - The Movie. For an actress who was associated with the show right from it's inception, her absence in the movie took her fans by surprise. "I couldn't be a part of the movie as i had some prior commitments and couldn't scoop out dates for it." As long as you are indulging in some rib-tickling comedy, we aren't complaining!
