Actress Deepika Das breaks silence on her bond with brother and KGF actor Yash: No rift, just a choice to keep work and family separate

Kannada actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada fame Deepika Das is all set to make a mark on the big screen with her upcoming film Paru Parvati, where she plays a pivotal role. The film is scheduled to hit theaters this week, and Deepika has been actively promoting it through various interviews.
Apart from her acting career, Deepika is often in the news for her family connection with Sandalwood superstar Yash. Many fans are unaware that the two actors are siblings, and questions frequently arise about why they rarely discuss their bond in public. Addressing the same recently, Deepika clarified that there is no rift between them.
“There are no issues between us. We are all doing well. When it comes to our professional lives, we prefer to keep them separate. We have mutual respect, but we don’t feel the need to repeatedly emphasize our family ties in public,” she explained.
Deepika further shared that while Yash appreciates her achievements, they prefer not to showcase their relationship publicly. “Whenever I accomplish something good, he praises me. But we don’t like to publicize it. Whether it's positive or negative, news spreads quickly, and we prefer to keep our personal matters private. Our families have always lived in separate houses, so we meet occasionally when time permits,” she added.
Praising Yash for his phenomenal contribution to Kannada cinema, Deepika expressed her admiration for her brother. “I’m happy to be a part of the same industry as Yash. He has taken Kannada cinema to new heights, which is an inspiration for me. I wish him all the best and hope he creates an even bigger impact at the pan-world level in the future.”
