Bigg Boss Kannada 7 update, Day 1: Bhoomi Shetty becomes the first captain of the season

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Kannada 7, few contestants are seen sleeping in the living area as they are unable to sleep inside the room due to the snoring sounds of the Kuri Prathap, Sujatha and Jai Jagadesh.
The next morning, Ravi Belegere and Rashmi are seen in the kitchen. Rashmi prepares coffee for Ravi, while he instructs her to prepare it.
Later, the contestants wake up even before Bigg Boss would ask them to get up.They greet each other and make fun of the ones who were snoring last night.
Suddenly, an unknown female voice is played inside the house greeting them good morning. Followed by a popular Kannada song is played. The contestants dance and enjoy the song.
After a while, the housemates offer prayer to the goddess and perform other traditional rituals.
While the inmates are seen chilling in the living area, Bigg Boss reminds them about the captaincy task. Bigg Boss asks them to unanimously choose three candidates for the captaincy task.
After a brief discussion, Sujatha informs Bigg Boss that they have selected Kuri Prathap, Bhoomi Shetty and Kishen Bilagali as the candidates for the captaincy task.
Bhoomi, Kishen and Prathap get ready for the task. They are asked to stand in front of three secret boxes. Each box has a different verdict for the individuals standing in front.
Bigg Boss asks Bhoomi to unlock her box. As Bhoomi unlocks the secret box, she is shocked when she finds out the name board of the 'captain'. Bhoomi becomes the first captain for the season.
Bigg Boss congratulates her and further asks Prathap to unveil his secret box. As Kuri unveils the box, he finds out a board, which states 'nominated'. Bigg Boss informs Prathap that he has been nominated directly for danger zone and further instructs Kishen to unlock his box.
As Kishen unlocks the box, he finds a board which reads 'immunity'. Bigg Boss congratulates Kishen and informs he is safe from this week's nomination.
After the task, the housemates enjoy lunch together. Ravi Belegere asks anyone to sing. Chandhan Achar volunteers to sing and dedicates it to Prathap.
While the contestants are seen busy with the household chores, Bigg Boss sends flowers for Bhoomi, who has become the first captain of the season. An audio message of Bhoomi's father, congratulating her for being the captain is also played by Bigg Boss. Bhoomi gets very emotional and thanks Bigg Boss for the surprise
Bigg Boss later announces the next task. Chandhan reads out the rules and regulations of the task. The contestants are asked to earn weekly groceries by performing the task.
They are asked to travel from one end in the garden area to another by using chairs. The contestants had to quickly pick up all the groceries, which are kept in the other end of the garden area. Bigg Boss mentions that the housemates will perform the task individually.
The inmates discuss about the groceries. They finally managed to complete the task and get the groceries.
After the completion of the task, Bigg Boss asks the contestants to proceed with the nomination process. The contestants enter the confession room one by one and take part in the nomination procedure. Once it is done, Bigg Boss announces Chaithra Kotoor, Chaitra Vasudevan, Gurulinga Swami, Ravi Belagere and Raju Talakoti as the nominated contestants.
