Chandu Gowda turns talk show host in his next television project

Actor Chandu Gowda will soon be hosting a celebrity talk show, the likes of which have been enjoyed by viewers in No 1 Yaari With Shivanna or Super Talk Time with Akul Balaji. "This is the first time I will be hosting a talk show. I was approached by the channel and felt it was the perfect platform to explore my chatty side. I always wanted to work on something like this and readily said yes to the offer," says Chandu.The show, which is set to air from October 30, has already completed quite a few shoots and includes big names from the Kannada film and TV fraternity, including musicians, actors, filmmakers, celeb couples and more.
What makes the show unique, Chandu adds, is the food element. "Apart from being a talk show where viewers would get to know more about their favourite celebs, there is also a little bit of cooking on the show, where guests would cook while getting chatty," says Chandu.
"We are also looking at getting many old actors and actors who have been away from the limelight for quite a while, on the show. It would help fans connect with them," he says, adding that the show is scheduled to air on Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon.
Work wise, Chandu is awaiting the release of his films Kushka, Jackpot and Roberrt, and has bagged two more projects that he will start shooting for from November. He has also made a foray in Telugu telly with the show Trinayani.
