Tejaswini Shekar lists out her five favourite female centric films

TV actress Tejaswini Shekar is back on Kannada television with the show Sangarsha in which she plays the role of an upright district collector officer, Indra, who always strives for the upliftment of society. On #QuickTakesWithBanglaorTimes she talks about her five all time favourite female-centric movies.
1. Queen: I am always a huge fan of Kangana Ranaut who has portrayed Rani in the movie.
The way she portrays herself on the screen is just amazing. The story of Queen is inspiring for every girl. It is a must watch movie for everyone.
2. Sharapanjara: Kalpana starrer Sharapanjara will always be a cult movie in the history of Sandalwood. I have watched this movie many times just for Kalpana's performance. The way society treats a woman is showcased in the film. Director Puttana Kanagal has executed the story perfectly.
3. Helen: This movie which released recently applies to everyone. The move brings to light how we all need to be thankful for what we have in our lives. Helen has motivated me to keep fighting.
4. Mahanati: The film is based on the life of actress Savitri. The hurdles she faced in her career have been portrayed excellently. Keerthy Suresh portrayed the role with ease.
5. Hush: It is a movie about a deaf and dumb girl who gets attacked by a psychopath.
