Veteran Kannada actor Rajaram, aged 84, reportedly passed away on Monday (May 10) evening. Although rumors are rife that the ace actor was suffering from Covid-19 complications, an official confirmation from the family members is awaited.

Hailing from Kolar district, Karnataka, Rajaram had been a part of many Kannada movies and serials. He was mainly known for his fatherly role in his projects.
Rajaram has also shown interest in theater activities since 1972. He has acted in several plays under his direction.
That's not all, he has also served the government of Karnataka and was retired as a Subordinate Secretary in the Ministry of Government of Karnataka.
On the other hand, Kannada celebs have mourned the death of one of the finest actors in the industry.
Initially, it was Majaa Talkies host Srujan Lokesh who broke the news of the veteran actor's death. Srujan on his Instagram handle wrote, "Really saddened by ur demise. Miss u RAJARAM uncle. Will never forget the time spent with u. Love u forever. Om Shanthi," (sic)
Gattimela actor Laya Kokila too responded to Srujan's post on Instagram and said, "We will miss you sir.... RIP" (sic)
Rajesh Dhruva also prayed for the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolence.
