Veena Nair has a special request. The actress, who is currently in Ajman, UAE, pleaded everyone to not neglect NRIs, who are returning to Kerala amid Corona scare.
"Thousands of NRIs have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 outbreak. They struggle to grab a ticket and reach their homes, but what if their family and natives don't accept them(Not everyone is the same).
What a sad situation is that? It's heartbreaking to see such news. NRIs sacrifice their happiness and work hard for their families," reads the translation of her post.
She also added, "We don't have to be scared of Corona but let's be cautious. Please don't keep NRIs away due to this scare. It is the time when they need care and support of their families and homeland. Now, I am in Ajman. I am witnessing the number of people who are losing their jobs daily here. Homeland is our strength now".
