Santhwanam family misses Lakshmi Amma, Raksha says 'Girijamma was more than a mother to us'

It is rare that the demise of an on-screen character creates a huge buzz on social media. Well, the same has happened in Malayalam TV after the death of actress Girija Preman's character Lakshmi Amma in the popular show 'Santhwanam'. The heart-touching scene of Lakshmi Amma's demise and her family mourning gained much laurels. Along with it, the funeral card of the character which surfaced on the official social media handle of the channel also went viral instantly.However, the Santhwanam family misses their Girijamma a lot.
Sharing a throwback video of her special moments with Girija, it is Raksha who has penned a note for her co-star.

'Girijamma was more than a mother to us. The Naragamuttai she used to bring every morning, the love-filled advice and her childlike mischiefs, she was our own mother,' she wrote.
