Start Music pays tribute to late singer Somadas with the re-telecast of the latter's last episode

Malayalam TV industry mourns the shocking demise of singer and former Bigg Boss contestant Somadas. The 42-year-old, who was under treatment for COVID-19, passed away last week.
Paying a tribute to the departed soul, popular music show, 'Start Music' will be re-telecasting the singer's last episode in the show. In one of the recent episodes of the show, Somadas was seen as a contestant along with his Bigg Boss inmates.In the episode, besides singing some popular melodies, the singer was also seen shaking his leg with the other contestants. Apparently, 'Start Music' was Somadas' last TV show.

Earlier, Start Music host and ex-Bigg Boss contestant, Arya had penned down a note on meeting Somadas on the sets of the show.
The singer shot to fame as a contestant in the iconic reality show, 'Star Singer'. Even though he couldn't win the title, Somadas was one of the popular contestants in the 2008 show.

Years after the singing reality show, the singer was seen as a contestant in the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam. But, he left the show midway due to medical emergency. Bigg Boss advised Somadas to quit the show after diagnosing with having high BP, sugar and cholesterol.
