Ashutosh Patki shares his love for direction

Actor Ashutosh Patki recently made his Marathi TV debut with the daily soap ‘Aggabai Sasubai’. Ashutosh Patki is currently playing Soham (Babdya), a character with grey shades in the show.
The actor recently interacted with the audience through social media. Where he touched upon various points.
While interacting with the audience, the most obvious questions were asked to him about his character Soham aka Babadya, the character is shown troubling his mother often, "Like the audience I also think why this character is so negative.But it's a character and important for the show to take the story ahead. The character is exactly opposite to my nature and doing it is a challenge. Audience hates this character and I call it a success of any negative character."
In the interaction the actor also highlighted his interest in pursuing direction. "During the initial days my father had told me to work as an assistant. I worked with Kedar Shinde too. This helped me to understand how other departments work including makeup and camera among others. In the future I would like to do direction too."
Ashutosh who has done hotel management and shared about his aim to open a restaurant in future. "I have taken training for hotel management. Many producers and directors used to come to our home to meet my father and then they used to tell me that I can pursue acting. Later I went to Anupam Kher's acting school and came to this field. As I have done hotel management I also want to open a restaurant." Interested in fitness, Ashutosh never misses his exercise, while answering questions about his exercise routines, Ashutosh adds, "After class X I started working out. I was very thin then. Later I started enjoying the gym. Even though I am spending 10-12 hours on set I make sure that I do exercise every morning."
