Actress Pallavi Joshi, who is playing a pivotal role in the film, made some interesting revelations about her role.
Actress Pallavi Joshi is playing the role of Radhika Menon, a university professor who encourages her students to fight for 'Azad Kashmir' in the film.
When quizzed about her experience of working in the film, Pallavi said, "This film is based on 1990's Kashmiri Pandits' exodus during the Kashmir Insurgency. I have met various Kashmiri Pandits and we have shown what has happened in reality. How people got killed in front of their families, how people faced the situation, how a woman has been harassed, we have shown everything in the film. We have a strong star cast. Actors like Darshan, Anumpan Kher sir, Mrinal and everyone have given their best. My role of Radhika tries to inspire everyone to fight for 'Azad Kashmir' and Chinmay Mandlekar is playing Bitta who will confess on camera that he killed 20 Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. I often say that I feel like the Gates of Hell have opened for us because my role is so lethal."
For the unversed, 'The Kashmir Files' is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film is creating ripples with its controversial content and controversies surrounding it.
