Sanjay Narvekar opens up on his 'Vaastav' journey in Kanala Khada

Popular Marathi actor Sanjay Narvekar is also a known name in Bollywood. The actor hogged the limelight with his role ‘Dedh Futiya’ in the movie Vaastav which turned his life around.
Today (27th April), the versatile actor is all set to come on the sets of Kanala Khada as a guest.
In the latest promo of the chat show, Sanjay shares about his journey in the film Vaastav.When Sanjay Mone (the host) asked the actor to recall a few memories from his experience of working in the film, he narrated about how he bagged the role. He said, “Initially, someone else was finalised for this role. But, he refused to do it at the end moment. I and some of my friends were at Shivaji Park. My pager buzzed and I saw that I am being notified by Mahesh Manjrekar, who is the director of Vaastav. When I went to his office, he just looked at me and said that I am going to play Dedh Footiya. Such a quick process it was.”

Moreover, the actor even opened up about his friendship with Sanjay Dutt. He said, “I remember, it was the first day of my shoot and I was seating and having my tea in a corner of the sets. Sanjay entered and saw me. He quickly called one of the spot boys and asked to get a chair for me.”
