Sumitra, Sunil direct series for children

Director duo Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Suktankar are directing a television serial based on children’s education system.
Bhave says, “We are directing a serial titled 'Mazhi Shala'. It’s a child centric script which advocates the importance and advantages of using knowledge based learning methods while educating children. We hope that the serial will prove to be an inspiration for teachers, parents and children.” The serial is funded by Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited.
Bhave’s film 'Astu', based on the Alzheimer’s problem and starring actors Milind Soman, Irawati Harshe, Amruta Subhash and Dr Mohan Agashe, has bagged two titles at the 61st National Film Awards this year.
