Actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s ‘Karthikeya 2’ set for its world television premiere

The telly audiences can expect an entertaining weekend as a popular fantasy mystery thriller will entertain on the small screen. The Tamil dubbed version of Karthikeya 2 starring Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran, is set for its world TV premiere on December 4 (Sunday) at 1 pm on a popular Tamil General Entertainment Channel (GEC).
The film was written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti and music was composed by Kaala Bhairava with cinematography and editing done by Karthik Ghattamneni.

The plot of Karthikeya 2 revolves around Karthik (Nikhil Siddhartha), a doctor who is suspended from his hospital. Though he is disappointed by the situation he finds himself in, he embarks on an adventure to find a mysterious anklet that originates from the period of Lord Krishna and holds answers to several supernatural events taking place across the country. During his quest, he faces several obstacles, including fighting off an evil clan and a secret society that wants to thwart his attempts at restoring order. With several unique twists and turns, it will be intriguing to see whether Karthik and Mugdha (Anupama Parameswaran) manage to find a missing anklet and safeguard the world from future catastrophes or not.

Speaking about the film, director Chandoo Mondeti said, "I wanted to bring something new and fresh in terms of concept and screenplay to the table, and the result was Karthikeya 2. I am grateful to the entire cast and crew of the film for bringing an eccentric story to life with their excellent performances and Kaala Bhairava’s background score, which adds essence to my film. The intention behind curating the movie was to provide viewers with a good mystery and mythology thriller and call for a nail-biting experience."

Adding to this, actor Nikhil Siddhartha said, "This film brings in a unique concept that has not been prominent in the Tamil GEC space. Discussions regarding Karthikeya 2 have earlier been mere concepts on paper, but attempting it on screen was challenging and fun at the same time. I am certain that the World Television Premiere of Karthikeya 2 will keep families and children at the edge of their seats and make their weekend worthwhile."
