Shruti Raj about Azhagu serial being dropped

Popular TV serial Azhagu starring starring Revathi, Thalaivasal Vijay, Shruthi Raj and V J Sangeetha has been dropped. The shooting of the serial which has crossed ove 400 episodes milestone was supposed to resume earlier this week after the lockdown due to COVID-19, but now looks like the serial itself has been dropped. The serial's lead actress Shruti Raj has opened about the shocking news on a her social networking page.
Talking about the planned resumption of shooting for the serial, Shruti Raj said, "I was called for shooting of the serial last month itself, but I didn't attend the shooting because of the corona issue. I also have some sinus problem. So I had informed the the team and channel that I wouldn't be able to join the shooting, since people with sinus can easily catch cold."
In a shocking revelation, Shruti Raj has confirmed that the serial has been dropped and said, "Recently also I heard that the shooting will start on July 8th and that;s what whole team were discussing also. Suddenly only I heard that the serial has been dropped. It was shocking to me and I don't know what the reason is."
The talented and pretty actress thanked her fans for extending their support for her roles as Sudha in the popular serial and she mentioned she was blessed to have worked with veteran actors Revathi and Thalaivasal Vijay.
