Karthika Deepam preview: Shobha hatches a new plan; Soundarya makes a counter plan

Popular daily soap Karthika Deepam is going to up its drama quotient in the upcoming episodes.
While Pram and Hima try to get Nirupam and Sourya closer, Shobha will hatch a new plan to manipulate Nirupam. She will use Swapna as her weapon in her mission to marry Nirupam. Shobha wants to toy with Nirupam's weakness to accomplish her goals. On the other hand, Soundarya, who is unaware of Shobha's plan, makes a counter move.She decides to get Hima and Nirupam married by hook or crook. She will even order Hima to stop thinking about Nirupam and Sourya's marriage since he doesn't love her. The consequences of these two moves remain to be seen in the upcoming episodes.
In the recent episode, Hima learns about Prem's feelings for her. She leaves Prem disappointed with her unclear response.
For the unversed, Hima wants to fulfil her promise to her dead parents by getting her sister Sourya married to the man of her choice, Nirupam. She wishes to pay back to Sourya, who ran away from the house after the death of their parents. Hima even sacrifices her love for Nirupam and even calls off her engagement with him at the last moment. But Sourya hates Hima, she believes the latter has betrayed her.
After the generation leap, Karthika Deepam has Amulya Gowda playing the character of grown up Sourya while Keerthi Keshav Bhat is essaying the role of Hima. The show also features Sushma Kiran as Swapna, Bhavani Chowdary as Shobha, Manoj Kumar as Prem, and Maanas Nagulapalli as Nirupam. Archana Ananth and Arun Kumar continue to play Soundarya and Anand Rao respectively.
