Vivek Agnihotri claims he is 'bankrupt as usual', says 'Whatever money I earned from 'The Kashmir Files', I put into...

Vivek Agnihotri recently opened up on not making movies for commercial success and how whatever he earned through 'The Kashmir Files', he has put it all into making his next movie, 'The Vaccine War.' During a chat with The Hindustan Times, the filmmaker shared that he has again gone 'bankrupt' and revealed making his next film will be a struggle. He said, 'In my mind, Kashmir Files is a commercial success for you, maybe for Zee, for people who really made money. I am one of the beneficiaries, not the major beneficiary.' Agnihotri added, 'Whatever money I earned, I put into my next film, 'The Vaccine War,' and I am bankrupt as usual. Pallavi and I were discussing that we are broke again. So for the next film, the struggle begins again.' 'The Vaccine War' is based on Indian scientists who developed the fastest and most effective covid-19 vaccine and will also delve into the debate surrounding vaccinations in America. The film will feature Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, and Sapthami Gowda in pivotal roles. Also, Vivek Agnihotri's 7-episode docu-series titled 'The Kashmir Files Unreported' also got released today (August 11) on an OTT platform. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
