Study reveals 93% reduction in infection to Armed forces doctors administered with Covishield: NITI Aayog

In a press briefing on July 27, Member of NITI Aayog Dr VK Paul said, “Study was conducted on 15 lakh doctors and frontline workers in AFMC who were administered with Covishield. It revealed that there was 93% reduction in infection during 2nd wave which was driven by the Delta variant and 98% mortality reduction.”
