Shekhar Suman opens up about how he initially didn’t like it when people called him 'Amitabh Bachchan of television'

Film actor and TV host Shekhar Suman is an ardent social media user, who often gives fans a sneak peek into his personal and professional space. Now, in a recent interview, the actor opened up about how he felt when people compared him to Amitabh Bachchan. He revealed that he earlier rejected any comparisons to Amitabh Bachchan, and didn’t like it initially when people called him ‘Amitabh Bachchan of television’. He said that back then he felt like he had his own identity and wanted to carve a niche for himself. However, he later realised how stupid that was, as he was getting the greatest compliment. Furthermore, the actor has continuously been in news last year as he was among those people who have been at the forefront in seeking justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. He along with the late actor's friend Sandip SSingh also went to Sushant's residence in Patna a few days after his unfortunate demise. Since then, the actor has been quite active in voicing out his opinion regarding the entire matter. Now, talking about the personal front, Shekhar Suman became the latest celebrity, who took the COVID-19 vaccination. Post which, the actor urged all others who are eligible for the vaccine to take the vaccine shot. Sharing a photo of the doctor injecting the vaccine on him, the actor wrote that he took his first dose of the Covishield vaccine at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. The 'Bhoomi' actor added that with the 'rising cases of corona', it was important for all those eligible to take the vaccine to protect themselves and ‘protect others'.
