Riingo’s next ‘Varanasi Junction’ is an action-packed chase thriller

Arnab Ringo Banerjee aka Riingo is back with yet another out of the box project, this time a web series set in the heart of Varanasi. Titled ‘Varanasi Junction’, it’s action thriller that sees the journey of a journalist who identifies a young YouTube blogger in the news and soon becomes a target of one of the most dangerous criminal rackets in Varanasi.The young man fears for his life as he feels his every move is being watched and he’s simply clueless about whom to trust in a city which is completely unknown to him.
The series stars popular actors Amrita Chattopadhyay, Jitsundar Chakravarty, Judhajit Sarkar, Ridhwish Chowdhury, Korak Samanta, Abhijit Sengupta and others in key roles. Riingo who is super excited about the series admits that ‘Varanasi Junction’ is surely a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him because the team got the opportunity to shoot in the sacred and the most mystic ghats at night and even in the early dawn. He promises this will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller that will keep the audience guessing right till the end.
Actor Amrita Chattopadhyay will be seen as Supriya Chowdhury, a freelance journalist working in Varanasi. According to the narrative she undertakes an assignment which changes her life forever as the story moves forward.
Interestingly, the web series has been shot in a mobile phone completely and it’s written, directed, and edited by Ringo himself. The plot sheds light on Varanasi’s religion, politics, and shady underbellies.
